Hi DaveVet, thanks for your posting!

The APVMA is the American Pre-Veterinary Medical Association, a group of undergraduate colleges and pre-veterinary students from across the country. We provide resources for undergraduates on the vet school application process, access to a yearly conference at a veterinary college, and quarterly newsletters. Feel free to visit us at: http://www.apvma.us

The AAVMC is the American Association of Veterinary Medical Colleges, which most vet schools in the country are members of. The AAVMC is mostly a resource for students in vet school, while the APVMA is a resource for undergraduate pre-veterinary students. For more information you can visit: http://www.aavmc.org/index.html

VMCAS is the Veterinary Medical College Application Service, which is provided by the AAVMC. This is the online program that allows pre-veterinary students to apply to veterinary school. The web link is: http://www.aavmc.org/vmcas/vmcas.htm

There are a lot of acronyms out there that can get very confusing, thanks for your interest! If you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to contact us again!
